If you are running a small start-up business or an established company, you will know the importance of receiving quality IT support. Waiting in a call queue is annoying and downtime often means lost revenue.
Support can be provided on a contract or an ad-hoc basis. We work with many companies that already have internal IT support, and can fill the gaps with more specialised support for Servers, Comms and security. We happily work with your other suppliers such as database vendors to resolve any issues in grey areas between the local infrastructure and the software.
Helpdesk
Qualified staff offering both remote and on-site support as required. Our staff have a selection of accreditations from both Microsoft and Cisco, ensuring a fix in the quickest possible time. On the rare occasions we do need to visit site for hardware failures, we stock a good supply of spares and loan units to get you up and running as quickly as possible, we can even loan backup 3g units with public IP addresses for the event of a comms failure.
Monitoring & Maintenance
We use a failsafe combination of Paessler network monitor and HP systems tools to ensure that typical issues such as a failed drive in a RAID array or a hard drive reaching capacity are dealt with before they cause downtime. This also allows us to build up a picture to of resource utilisation over time and compare between systems. It offers thousands of counters to monitor very specific items for troubleshooting, including application specific counters within Exchange and SQL.
Backup & Security
We encourage our clients to work towards the basic principles of ISO 27001 – allowing access to data on a need-to-know basis and following best security practises with regards to firewalls, network access, email filtering and anti-virus.
Backups managed by ourselves are signed off twice weekly and tested on a monthly basis. We can optionally provide full DR planning
